The initial beta will cover Chrome, Safari and Firefox (versions 3.6 and 4). “Initially we need a small cross-section of users to test TweetDeck Web across the recent versions of all the major web browsers,” TweetDeck community manager Richard Barley wrote. Like the TweetDeck desktop application, it allows the user to view several Twitter and Facebook feeds at once across multiple accounts, but it requires no software to download and runs strictly in the web browser. TweetDeck Web will be quite similar to the existing app for Google’s Chrome browser. Follow is accepting sign-ups for a beta version of TweetDeck Web, an in-browser adaptation of the Twitter and Facebook client.
